The club is located near the Wellawatta beach and has a separate restaurant where guests can enjoy local or set menus and also soft and hard liquor. The club obtained affiliation to the Royal Life Saving of UK and the Surf Life Saving Association of Sri Lanka. An annual 6 mile sea swim competition is held by KS & LSC.
KS & LSC is supported with a strong life guard/ savers team who leads any occasion on call. The team comprises of male and female team members who do voluntary life saving duty on weekends and holidays.
