Saliya Kulathilaka holds Austswim "Teacher For Swimming & Water Safety License from Australia". His coaching experience is over 10 years and has trained many students both young and adults to be successful swimmers. Saliya holds a Bronze from Sri Lanka Life Saving Association and has given his volunteer service to the Association as Ananda College Captain in 1998. He is a active member of Sri Lanka Coach's Association and has won many places in Junior Nationals and Nationals events representing Ananda College and Clubs.
He is carrying out regular swimming sessions for adults at University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Louvre International School and trained many adults how to swim and to be safe in water. He is the co-founder of AquaLIFE which is a group focused in swimming as a fitness exercise and a lifestyle.
