Guruge Nature Park is the first theme park in Sri Lanka with amusement and water fun mixed with glorious history tracing life in Sri Lanka as far back as 547 B.C. to the time of our first King. Guruge Nature Park really gets overcrowded during weekends, holidays and remains open from 9.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m daily throughout the year. Cultural, traditional and historical heritage as well as the entertaining attractions such as paintball are available. Among future attractions to the park are a purpose-built Gem Museum chronicling the history of Gem mining and the importance of precious stones through Sri Lanka’s history, a unique butterfly and insect habitant and a wave pool to add to the rich experience of this theme park.
