Astanka Yoga Mandir (AYM) is a centre for yogic knowledge in Colombo established since 1992 which provides resources and facilities to learn and practice the yogic knowledge of the great Eastern traditions. Yogic training was pioneered at the centre by Mrs. Selvam Kalyansunderam B.A (Hons) (Barrister-at-law, Attorney-at-law,) coming from a reputed Yogic tradition headed by her Holiness Swami Sivananda Satchidananta Mathaji, first lady disciple of H.H.Swami Sivananda Saraswathi, the founder of Divine Life Society, Rishikesh Himalayas, India.
