Sivananda Abhina Yoga Gurukula is a non-profit voluntary initiative formed by Anoja Weerasinghe to give the benefit of yoga to a wider audience. Anoja who is an icon to many SriLankan film enthusiasts, is now involved teaching her craft to people with disabilities and other marginalized people in Sri Lanka. She founded the Abhina Academy of Performing Arts and through her organization, has taught in rehabilitation centers for disabled soldiers, trauma victims, mentally ill patients, and drug addicts.
